Our bags are heirlooms and are here to be cherished for years; however, these materials are extremely delicate. Our bags are responsibly made in Somerset, England with Scottish Leather and Salmon skin and a British sheep suede lining.
Our famous fish scales are beautiful colours that can fade in sunlight. Please also be aware that being rough with the fish scales will end up in marks. As you and our bag go on its journey together, life will have a way and accidents will happen but please try and avoid keeping her on rough surfaces and use a leather cleaner for the non fish scale leather.
Our Italian turnbuttons are our most recognisable symbol at Moray Luke but despite being classic, using brass, it will patina with age so be careful opening and closing your bags and also be aware of its effect on the fish scales. It will scratch every mark symbolising each adventure you take out with it.
Your Moray Luke bag is a voluptuous shape and because of the delicate leather, this will need to be kept. We suggest stuffing your Moray Luke tissue paper that came with your purchase in your bag to hold it stiff while you store. Your dust bag is made out of Irish compostable linen and Meredith will sit in her. And if you want to display your recycled cardboard box then avoid taking it around sharp edges and store in dry surfaces.
